Get hooked on crochet this autumn! Over three workshops on consecutive Sundays you will learn how to hold a crochet hook and yarn, have a go at making a retro granny square, and create a cute amigurumi potted cactus.
The workshops will be held at a new venue, The Steam Room in Harborne. They do specialist teas and coffees as well as awesome breakfasts and cake!
Sunday 1 October 10.30am-midday: The basics! Learn to hold a crochet hook and yarn, and have a go at making the basic stitches.
Sunday 8 October 10.30am-midday: Granny squares. Have a go at making a retro granny square which you can then make into a gorgeous blanket or cushion cover.
Sunday 15 October 10.30am-midday: Amigurumi cactus. Learn to make a magic circle and crochet in the round to make a cute desk accessory.
Included in the price is a goody bag containing a crochet hook, a 100g ball of premium acrylic yarn, yarn needle, stitch marker and instruction sheets for each workshop. You can also practice at home with the help of my online videos, available on my Facebook page!
This course is £50 per person, minimum age 8, maximum 6 people per class.
