Harborne in Bloom

I’m looking for knitters and crocheters to help me with a summer yarnbombing project for my home town of Harborne, Birmingham!

The plan is to cover the trees outside Fallen Angel Bakery on the High Street in knitted or crochet green squares and colourful flowers to make them look as summery as possible.

Green squares need to be 10×10 cm and can be made using any weight or colour of yarn and any pattern/stitch combo. Flowers can be any colour and all sizes and shapes are welcome!

So I need you all to get out your needles and hooks and get all contributions to me by Saturday 17 June.

There will then be a small celebration event to unveil our work on Saturday 1 July and everyone who has contributed will be recognised.  Follow the event on Facebook for full details!
