Crochet and tassel wall hanging

I’ve been really inspired recently by images on Pinterest of crochet and macrame wall hangings, so decided to have a go at making my own.  

I used a small amount of chunky yarn I had lying around and made a ‘wheel in a square’ motif with an 8mm hook.  I left a long tail when I fastened off and attached this to the opposite corner of my square so I could hang it up.  I then made 5 tassels in cream, light pink and mint green, again from oddments of yarn in my stash, then attached these to the spaces along the bottom of my square.

Love it!
